Design Gilman Event Community Survey

The Village of Gilman and School District of Gilman is partnering with the University of Wisconsin-Extension to create a community vision to help us plan for the future. On Friday, October 11, a Design Team of professional planners and designers and our Student Council will be meeting with members from our community to learn more about our hopes and concerns. Their day will include 10 presentations from 10 different community members, 3 focus groups sessions with senior citizens, business owners, and young people, and a tour of the community. That evening, from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM, everyone in Gilman is invited to a community tailgating party at Celebration Hall to share their ideas about the future of Gilman with the Design Team. Food will be served at 4:30 PM and the program will start promptly at 5:00 PM. The next day, the Design Team will take all the input they received and generate hand drawn illustrations and plans for Gilman’s future. They will present those concepts on Saturday, October 12 at Gilman School at 7:00 PM.
